VPNXF
Beginner’s Guide
Set up your account and plan first, then add your subscription to a client. Once the server list appears, choose a region, connect, and confirm the connection by checking whether the sites you need actually work.
Keep this guide open and open the user panel in another tab so you can refer to both as you go. Your account manages plans and orders; your subscription gives the client its server configuration. They are separate items. You don’t need to understand how the servers work or enter server settings yourself—just complete each step before moving on.
Create an account and open the panel
Click “Start Free” to open the VPNXF user panel, then set a username and password on the account creation page. No email address is required; a username and password are all you need to create an account. Choose a username you can remember and enter accurately. Use a unique password and store it in a trusted password manager. Follow the panel’s instructions to finish. Never share your password in public forums or screenshots.
Once you’re in the panel, find “Account Overview” and confirm that you’re viewing your own account. If you already have an account, sign in with your existing details—there’s no need to create another one just to use a different device. VPNXF supports unlimited devices, and you can manage multiple personal devices with one account. Each device still needs its own client import and connection setup.
If you’re still on the login screen, check for extra spaces in your username and make sure your password’s capitalization is correct, then try again. Avoid creating several similar usernames, which can make it difficult to match orders and subscriptions later. Not seeing a server list yet doesn’t mean anything went wrong; choose a plan first, then get your subscription.
Choose a plan and check the billing terms
Open the Plans section in the user panel and consider how you plan to use the service. Choose a monthly subscription if you use it regularly and want a fresh data allowance each month. A data package may suit you better if your usage is occasional and you’d rather use the remaining data over time. “Start Free” takes you to account creation; it does not mean there’s a separate free plan. Check the plan price and data allowance before confirming your order.
Monthly subscriptions are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the date your plan starts. This doesn’t mean all plans reset on the first day of the calendar month; check your account overview for the current status. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Read the current instructions in the panel before changing your plan.
Data packages are ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. They remain valid until used and never expire. Their data rules differ from monthly subscriptions, so decide whether you need a recurring allowance or data you can keep long term. If you’re unsure how much data you need, consider whether you mainly browse websites, use AI tools, or stream video. Don’t choose a more expensive tier just because it includes more data.
Before placing your order, check the plan name, amount due, and billing method, then follow the on-screen instructions. Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are accepted. After payment, return to the panel and check your order and plan status; don’t rely on the payment page alone to confirm activation. If the status hasn’t updated, refresh and check your order history before paying again. VPNXF offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. See the Terms of Service for how to request a refund.
Get your subscription and add it to a client
Once your plan is active, open “Account Overview” and look for the subscription or import section. The panel provides subscription details for your account; the client reads them and displays the server list. Use the panel’s client import option if available. Otherwise, copy the subscription link and add it to your client manually.
A subscription link is not a single server address or your login password. It’s generally used to retrieve and update the full server configuration, so keep it as securely as you would your account details. Don’t share the complete link on public websites, in chat screenshots, or in support requests, and don’t submit it to online conversion tools from unknown sources. If you need help, hide any identifying parts of the link and describe the error and where it occurred.
After copying the link, leave it on your clipboard for now; there’s no need to paste it into a browser’s address bar. When importing manually, copy the entire link without missing characters at the beginning, end, or in the middle. Don’t include any explanatory text shown in the interface. If the import still fails, return to the account overview and copy the link again rather than guessing or editing it.
This guide doesn’t provide a working subscription link. Install the client for your device, then return to the panel to import your subscription. Import methods can differ across platforms, even for the same account. Use the option recommended in the panel, and don’t switch formats unless prompted to do so.
Import into a client and check the server list
Open the Downloads section in the panel and select your device’s platform. Sign in to get the Windows, macOS, Android, or Linux client. For iOS, follow the panel’s instructions based on your subscription status. The panel provides both the client and subscription; this page doesn’t link directly to installation files. Once installed, open the client, then use the panel’s import option. This makes it easier to confirm that the app opens correctly.
If the panel offers a Clash Plus import option, try that first. For other clients, select the option that matches your client. The manual process is generally the same: open the configuration or subscription page, add a remote subscription, paste the link, save and update it, then set the new configuration as active. Saving the link without updating or enabling the configuration usually won’t display a usable server list.
Windows: Add a remote subscription from the configuration menu
Get the VPNXF client for Windows from the panel, then install and launch it. If you import through the panel, your browser may ask whether to open an app. Confirm that it’s the client you just installed before proceeding. To import manually, look for “Configuration,” “Subscription,” or “Profiles” in the client sidebar. Choose an option such as Add, Import from link, or Remote configuration, paste the subscription link, save it, and update.
After updating, open the server selection page. Check that the regions and server names appear, and confirm that the newly imported configuration is active. If you still see the old configuration, switch to the new one instead of adding the same link again. Follow the client’s prompts for system proxy settings and other permissions. Keep the default settings for your first connection to avoid changing several options at once and making problems harder to troubleshoot.
macOS: Check the active configuration after importing
Get the VPNXF client for macOS from the panel, install it as prompted, and open the app. The subscription option may be in the main window or under the menu bar icon. Find the configuration manager, then import through the panel or paste the link where you add a remote subscription. Save and update it, set the subscription as the active configuration, and open the server list.
If the system asks for network-related permissions, check the app name and what action triggered the prompt before granting access. Don’t disable system security settings just to match another guide. If the app won’t open or permission is denied, check the panel for instructions for your version of macOS. If you have another similar client installed, disconnect it first to prevent multiple apps from managing your network at the same time.
Android: Add a subscription and grant connection permission
Sign in to the panel and get the VPNXF client for Android. Once installed, open it and go to “Configuration” or “Subscription.” Select Add remote subscription or Import from link, then paste the link you copied. If the link is no longer on your clipboard, return to the panel and copy it again. Save and update the subscription, enable the configuration, check the server list, and choose a region.
The first time you connect, Android may show a system VPN connection request. Confirm that it was initiated by your client, tap Allow, and check the connection status in the app. If the connection drops when you switch apps or lock your screen, check how the system manages the client’s background activity and follow the panel’s instructions. Don’t assume every issue is caused by the subscription. You can keep the client open in the foreground while you complete the access test.
iOS: Get and import a client using the panel’s instructions
Select iOS in the panel and follow the instructions shown for your current account to get a client. Client availability on iOS depends on your subscription status; don’t follow download steps meant for other platforms. After opening the client, import using the option recommended in the panel. If you need to add the link manually, paste it into the client’s subscription or configuration manager, then save, update, and enable it.
When you connect for the first time, the system may ask permission to add a VPN configuration. Check the app’s source, follow the prompt to grant permission, then return to the client and choose a server. A VPN indicator means the configuration is enabled; you still need to open your destination website to confirm access. If the panel’s import option doesn’t open the app, check that the client is installed and has been opened at least once, then try importing manually.
Test your connection and check actual access
Choose a region based on the service you want to access. If the service or content requires a Japanese location, select a server in Japan first. If there’s no specific region requirement, choose from the servers currently available in the panel. After connecting, check the client status and look for configuration errors or permission prompts, then open your destination website. Server names and connection indicators can help with troubleshooting, but they don’t by themselves confirm that the site is accessible.
Next, open My IP to check your browser’s current exit IP. If its location matches the selected server, that’s a useful indication that your browser traffic is using the expected route. If it doesn’t, check the active configuration, selected server, and client connection mode. A failed lookup doesn’t necessarily mean the connection failed; also check the client’s status and whether your destination website opens.
Finally, test the feature you actually need rather than just opening a site’s homepage. For AI tools, try signing in and completing a task. For video, open the content you want to watch and check that it plays. Platforms may consider your account region, content licensing, and their own access policies, so changing your exit location doesn’t guarantee access to all content. For regional availability and common prompts on streaming services, see the Streaming guide.
If a site still won’t open, retrace the steps: check that your plan is active, the subscription updated successfully, the correct configuration is enabled, the right server is selected, and system permissions are granted. Change one thing at a time, then reload the destination page. If you need to try a different server, compare options in the same region; there’s no need to delete your subscription or reinstall the client right away.
Once everything works, note the region and server name you used so you can check them again if anything changes. VPNXF covers 110+ countries and 250+ routes, and the best route can vary by service. To set up another device, repeat the client import and connection test. For more help, visit the Support page or describe the platform, client prompt, selected region, and specific step that failed in a user panel support ticket. Hide your subscription link and sensitive account details before submitting.
